The Nikon D series takes alot of beating for value for money. I use my D40 as my take it everywhere camera, not wanting to miss that “I so wish I had my camera with me” oppertunity. I am allways impressed with the quality of the images and the fact its simple and quick to use and set up – for the money, great value

Love your blog, just cruising around checking out photography blogs. Very imformative….I myself sport a Canon XSi. However, never having tried a Nikon…I would love to give it a go if one comes out in my price range.

The next BIG buy I make on a DSLR body will most likely be a 1D Mark II or III.

Thanks for the good reads, and I’ll def be back!

i agree, I have a D80 and that thing goes everywhere with me. takes amazing photos as well. I was torn between the Canon and the Nikon for a wile but in the end an after reading hundreds of reviews I leaned towards the Nikon.
