The simple answer is to buy a gun…
Nothing fancy, a starting pistol will suffice, just something so you can declare you are transporting a firearm when you check in.
This then opens up a whole new world of security for your luggage. Allowing better locks and better tracking.
Its all gone into here , not sure if i dare try it though, if it goes wrong you could end up talking to mister jelly finger.
It does make me question though that if your luggage is that insecure that things could be stolen from it, whats to stop somebody putting stuff in it.

Yeah this was mentioned in the comments of the airline rules thread linked here. Having a gun and not being 100% on the rules would probably make you go through a lot more rubber-glove-action?
