Stupot from the photography on the net forums has a great tip for anyone with an eye for a bargain!
Simply complete this online form to order a sample book. Apparently the size is just right to cover your flash.
FREE coloured filters for your speedlight!
Basically, its possible to change the colour of your flashgun, and best of all it’s free! First of all you have to order a free swatch book from Rosco that gives you a whole selection of colours to choose from, the great thing is that these are a perfect size to fit over your flashgun head.
Here is info from the Strobist on attaching and colour correcting your flash with gels.

I have a few of these free sets of gels, they really are useful. To see what can really be done with them, check out a friends site: http://www.arinahnell.com
Great site, well worth a browse especially these
Regarding the free swatch book. which one do I get, the DSLR link takes me to the cinegel swatch and if you click on ‘free colour filters for your flash” it takes you to an article that has supergel. Which one do I order. i beleive you can order both. Just slightly confused.
thanks
I ordered the cinegel ones thinking they would have the ones that strobist specified (green and tungsten) but I am confused myself so who knows!
Have ordered the Cinegal ones too so hopefully those are the right one!
We will see! I just hope they actually deliver them, I know I would be getting pretty annoyed with all the freebie hunters if I were them ;O)
well finally received a package from ROSCO……were there any filters in there, I hope there would be, but alas, they only sent me a ROSCO book and a memo letter stating that (and I quote) “because of the thickness of the watch books which contain over 200 pages we have experienced trouble when sending them through the post where they either never arrive or arrive damaged”
they did send another page with dealers in AUS, to call up and see if I can get any of them. Surely I did and the guy I called up, he does and he sells em for 5 bucks.
So a trip to the shop and five bucks later (hasnt happened yet, will happen on monday, becasue hes closing in a few mins).
Damn…………..those few lucky ones who got em. :0)
alrighty then.
I haven’t received any Rosco ones, not even a letter, but the free swatch books from Lee filters have been brilliant – had two books off them, (designer and cinematographer)!
Does seem Australia dealers are not keen on posting them from what I have seen in the forums.
