To Lori: You are absolutely right. While not necessarily easy to find, a good mentor can dramatically accelerate the success of a new photography business. The impact is definitely big enough that if I was redoing my list I&#039;d probably add this. To make it more of an &quot;action&quot; step for very precise guidance, I would say: 

10. Contact three established photographers and ask if they will provide some time each week or month to provide guidance and mentoring. 

Or something like that. Thanks for the good thought.
